Dr Tim Kenyon has taught courses in critical reasoning for over a decade, and is the author of the critical thinking text Clear Thinking in a Blurry World. Born and raised in western Canada, he and his family settled in Kitchener, Ontario after stints working and studying in China, Greece, and Scotland. Tim is a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, where he teaches and researches on issues in the philosophy of language and mind, when he’s not playing hockey or out for a cycle. His current research focuses on issues of testimony and critical reasoning. He has done extensive public outreach work relating to critical thinking and bicycle commuting.
