Polaris' Most Wanted

Polaris' Most Wanted is a game with two main goals: ice breaking and building social network and community. A camera will be set up on Friday night, and players will sign in. Mug shots will be taken of the Most Wanted, holding a board showing their name, three randomly selected crimes, and the value of their bounty. Later, the camera will be relocated to a room party where our contestants can get to know each other, and last chance registering offenders can sign in.

At the end of the night, all mug shots will be uploaded to the bounty board on a Facebook group. The group will be updated to remove photos of Most Wanted who have been captured.

Upon sign in and processing they will be handed two cards; one is their "Head", and the other is their "Collection Number".

Bounty Hunters will collect their bounties by recognising their quarry, approaching politely, and saying, "Hello (name), you're wanted for Mischief in the Tenth Degree, and Grand Defiance Security." By having identified their quarry by name, and at least one of the charges against them, the Bounty Hunter collects the Most Wanted's "Head" card, which they in turn drop off at the Info Desk with their collector number written on the back.

  1. Bounties cannot be collected outside of Convention common areas where no programming is taking place.
  2. Be socially proper, say hello, act polite, and don't interrupt a conversation. No running.
  3. If the Bounty Hunter gets the Most Wanted's name or charge wrong, they cannot attempt to collect again for 10 minutes.
  4. Bounty Hunters cannot collect the bounty of someone who has just tried to capture them for five minutes after they have either collected or failed to collect.

Saturday night we will reconvene at our gathering point to announce who is still running free and add new restrictions to intensify the game; for example, suddenly you cannot catch people outside of Dealers outside Dealers' Room Hours, etc.

The game will be closed on Sunday afternoon. The top 10 Bounty Hunters will be announced at Closing Ceremonies with the value of bounties they collected. The player deemed the winner will receive a Terra membership to Polaris 24.
